OFFICAL PROGRAM LAUNCH TARGETED FOR JANUARY 1ST, 2026
(PENDING CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT)
WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
At the pilots collective we are contantly looking for students that want to learn from the best of the best.

GROUND SCHOOL PROGRAM
Learn with us to gain real-world experience, build lasting mentorships, and grow in a supportive aviation community committed to your success from student to professional pilot.
WHAT IS THE GROUND SCHOOL PROGRAM?
The Student Program offers more than ground training. It delivers a community built on mentorship, trust, and real-world readiness. While we don’t directly offer flight training, we partner with aircraft owners and independent instructors to help make flying more accessible. Students learn in tight-knit cohorts using a curriculum shaped by active flight instructors, airline pilots, and aircraft owners. You won’t just check boxes. You’ll build judgment, confidence, and leadership skills from day one. With clear expectations for solo privileges, opportunities to become a certified ground instructor, and a culture of safety reporting and shared growth, we prepare you not just to pass a checkride, but to thrive as a professional. If you’re looking for more than just hours. If you want purpose, community, and career-focused development this is where you start.

WHY IS IT WORTH YOUR TIME TO LEARN WITH US?
WE TEACH FOR UNDERSTANDING, NOT JUST CHECKING BOXES
At The Pilots Collective, we go deeper than surface-level training. Our instructors are trained to break down every topic to its core, always answering the “why” behind every concept, not just the “what.” Whether you're learning systems, regulations, or maneuvers, the goal is for everything to make sense, not just be memorized. This approach builds long-term confidence and prepares students to make smart, safe decisions in the real world.
REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE, BETTER PREPARED PILOTS
We believe training should reflect what you’ll face as a pilot — not just what’s on the checkride. That’s why we fly you into Bravo airspace during your private pilot training, take you into actual IMC during your instrument rating, and help you understand every commercial maneuver in a way that prepares you to teach it later. We introduce realistic scenarios, ATC interactions, and emergencies so that when the real world happens, you're ready. If you choose to instruct with us, you'll already have the technical knowledge — all that’s left is to refine your teaching skills.
COMMUNITY AND SAFETY FIRST
Without community, learning loses its fun — and more importantly, its safety. At The Pilots Collective, we believe that strong relationships lead to better communication, stronger accountability, and safer operations. Our program emphasizes connection between students, instructors, and aircraft owners. Through open communication, shared learning, and a culture of mutual support, we create an environment where safety thrives and friendships grow.
A CURRICULUM BUILT TO MOVE YOU FORWARD
Our program is built around a clear goal: complete each rating within six months of your start date — without sacrificing quality. The curriculum is continuously refined by instructors and shaped by insights from DPEs, airline pilots, mechanics, and other professionals. Every lesson has purpose, and training is structured to keep students progressing efficiently. While six months is the goal, progress depends on your effort, consistency, availability, and financial situation. We’re here to support you — but your drive brings it to life.
Refer to the Curriculum Development Program page to learn more about how we build and improve our training system.
TRAIN SMARTER, SAVE MORE
We know flight training is expensive, and we’re committed to helping you manage it. At The Pilots Collective, we don’t take any cut from aircraft owners or instructors—your money goes directly toward your training. For ground classes, we keep costs low by grouping students into cohorts based on their rating level, with each class having a minimum of six students. This allows us to offer high-quality instruction at just $10 per hour, saving you time, money, and the headache of trying to learn everything on your own. Instructors receive half of the total class revenue, ensuring they’re compensated fairly while still keeping costs affordable. The rest supports program operations and future student scholarships. On the flight side, instructors work to combine lessons and meet overlapping requirements—like fulfilling instrument and commercial tasks in the same flight—so you save both time and money. With efficient scheduling, a purpose-driven curriculum, and a community-first approach, we make sure every dollar counts.
GUIDING YOU TOWARDS A CAREER IN AVIATION
While we’re still developing formal career pipelines, our focus right now is helping each student get where they need to go — whether that’s earning their next rating, becoming a CFI, or preparing for a career in the airlines, aerial firefighting, or corporate aviation. Through mentorship, career guidance, and instructor support, we provide clarity on what steps to take and when. As The Pilots Collective grows, we aim to create structured pathways that connect students to specific careers. Until then, you’ll still get the one-on-one support and real-world insight needed to move forward with confidence and purpose.
